Pregnancy disease. That’s the term late-term abortionist, Dr. Warren Hern formulated to justify himself.
Women who become pregnant are infected with a disease, according to this man. Obviously, completely treatable, thanks to him… for a fee, of course.
Dr. Hern remains one of four abortionists in the US still performing late-term abortions, up until the day before the baby’s due date.
That’s right. Abortion remains legal through all nine months of pregnancy for some states in the US, including Colorado. Dr. Hern practices this type of “medicine” in Boulder.
Not many may realize he has written extensively on the topic of abortion. I will share with you a portion of one of his essays on his website, drhern.com. He titled his article, “Is Pregnancy Really Normal?”
He concludes the article with the below quote. He suggests pregnancy ought to be treated as a “disease:”
“The foregoing discussion should allow us to abandon the erroneous assumption that pregnancy is per se a normal and desirable state, and to consider instead a more accurate view that human pregnancy is an episodic, moderately extended chronic condition with a definable morbidity and mortality risk to which females are uniquely though not uniformly susceptible and which:
“- is almost entirely preventable through the use of effective contraception, and entirely so through abstinence; when not prevented, is the individual result of a set of species specific bio-social adaptations with a changing significance for species survival;
“- may be defined as an illness requiring medical supervision through (a) cultural traditions, functional or explicit, (b) circumstantial self-definition of illness or (c) individual illness behavior;
“- may be treated by evacuation of the uterine contents;
“- may be tolerated, sought, and/or valued for the purpose of reproduction; and has an excellent prognosis for complete, spontaneous recovery if managed under careful medical supervision.
“Accordingly, the open recognition and legitimation of pregnancy as an illness would be consistent with the individual self-interest of those experiencing pregnancy, good standards of medical practice, and the continued survival of human and other species” (emphasis added).
QUESTIONS I HAVE FOR “DOCTOR” HERN:
(1) To quote, “the open recognition and legitimation of pregnancy as an illness would be consistent with… the continued survival of human and other species.” What?
The survival of the human species depends on procreation, lest there be none left. How can treating pregnancy as an illness facilitate procreation for the survival of our species? It makes no sense to me.
How can calling it pregnancy disease and treating gestation as such help other species to survive? What nonsense.
(2) You state, “[Pregnancy] may be defined as an illness requiring medical supervision…” Again, what are you talking about?
Defined as so-called pregnancy disease by whom, Dr. Hern?
(3) I will quote you once again, “[Pregnancy] may be tolerated, sought, and/or valued…”
Wait, didn’t you just state pregnancy ought to be considered a disease? Why then would a disease be sought? What human, in their right mind, seeks to become sick?
The very fact that we do not, in fact, value illnesses should tell you how backwards your theory of so-called pregnancy disease is, Doctor.
(4) You write, “[Pregnancy] may be treated by evacuation of the uterine contents.” But this is not enough information.
What do you mean by “evacuation of the uterine contents,” sir?
Do you mean the dismemberment of the human being growing inside the uterus? Do you mean the sucking out of her brains, the collapsing of her skull, and the removal of her body?
Or do you mean the chopping of the human being inside until he is a puree, capable of being sucked through your cannula?
Or, again, do you mean the twisting off of body parts while inside the womb, then rearranged on a tray to ensure you got all the body parts?
Is that what you mean by the “evacuation of the uterine contents,” Dr. Hern?
A FEW MORE QUESTIONS
How does so-called pregnancy disease inflict someone? You do realize some people seek to become pregnant, right? You do know the generative faculties allow for people to come into this world through an act of conjugal love between spouses, correct?
So, for people seeking pregnancy, are they demented? Or is it you?
How does a man who went to school to become a doctor instead become a hired hand in causing death? How does taking an oath to preserve life square with ending it?
So many questions left unanswered.
