Today I have two exciting announcements to share concerning ProLife365.com and American Life League (ALL). As well, I have two pro-life events to highlight that are being headed by ALL.
FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT
To begin, I am proud to announce that ProLife365.com is now an official affiliate of American Life League.
ALL has a long legacy of fighting for the lives of the preborn since 1979. ALL continues to be a beacon of truth, offering several trailblazing apostolates. I am honored to be affiliated with American Life League.
They offer the Celebrate Life Magazine, the Personhood Now movement, the ALL Report with Michael Hichborn, and other initiatives.
One of those other efforts is the Stop Planned Parenthood (STOPP) project, run by Rita Diller. We will revisit that project in greater detail later this week.
Another venture ALL has is ThePillKills.org, a site and effort dedicated to raising awareness to the harm and the death caused by using birth control pills and other contraceptives. The Pills Kills has an upcoming pair of events, detailed below.
SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT
The other announcement I have is that ProLife365.com has the honor to serve as a sponsor of the National Protest the Pill Day (more details below).
Last night I participated in the #ThePillKills Conference Call, led by ALL, and featuring prominent pro-life leaders from across the country. ALL set out to promote this exciting week, as two events are fast approaching.
YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN IN TWO EVENTS!
First, tomorrow, June 5th there will be a “Tweetstorm” to broadcast the message that the Birth Control Pill can kill and harm.
The second event, on Saturday, June 7th, is the National Protest the Pill Day.
Both of these are explained below.
Rita Diller offers us her explanation of these events (below in blue) and how we can all be involved in the efforts:
Groups all across the nation will be outside Planned Parenthood facilities, pharmacies and other public places holding signs that say The Pill Kills, and distributing educational literature about the perils of the Pill on Saturday, June 7.
We are still inviting people to start a protest in their own community. Just get your friends together, set a time, and stand outside your local Planned Parenthood [or birth control distributer] with signs—which you can make yourself.
You can also go to our website to find all the details about how to organize an event. There you can find free downloadable literature that you can hand out at your educational protest, and tons of factual information about how the pill kills.
In addition to the June 7th National Day of Action, we are putting together a “Tweetstorm” to take over Twitter with the message that The Pill Kills.
We will be doing that on June 5th. We are inviting everyone to help with that effort by tweeting the truth about the pill with the hashtag #ThePillKills—all day long.
We hope to get out the word nationwide about the perils of the pill and the harm it is causing to women, babies and families.
The idea behind doing a Tweetstorm is to try to force the mainstream media to take notice of the harmful effects of the birth control pill. The Kermit Gosnell trial last year in Pennsylvania got very little coverage, until the pro-life community stormed Twitter with the #Gosnell hashtag. Once that was trending on Twitter, the mainstream media, by and large, removed their collective heads from the sand to begin reporting on the Gosnell murder trial for infanticide. Gosnell was later convicted.
We pray for a similar awakening tomorrow over the harmful effects of birth control use.
