I said every day
We’ve got to bring her home
She’s been out to prove the doctors wrong
Oh and you should see her now
She’s as pretty as her mom
And there’s a boy at the front door waiting just to take her to her high school prom…

Scared to Speak: US Cardinal Admitted Catholic Bishops Have Collective ‘Laryngitis’ on Matters of Sexual Morality

August 12, 2018 By Kevin Kukla Leave a Comment

scared to speak

“What about the argument that vast numbers of Catholics ignore the church’s teachings about sexuality? Doesn’t the church have a problem conveying its moral principles to its own flock? ‘Do we ever!’ the archbishop replies with a hearty laugh. ‘I’m not afraid to admit that we have an internal catechetical challenge—a towering one—in convincing our own people of the moral beauty and coherence of what we teach. That’s a biggie.’”

What is the Purpose of Dating Anyway?

December 13, 2017 By Kevin Kukla 3 Comments

what is the purpose of dating

Here is another novel idea. What is the purpose of dating, again? To discern whom you ought to marry. Therefore, a short dating period before engagement, of say no more than four months would be wise. Whoa, why would I say that? Just think about it.

You are spending time with this other person in a dating relationship so as to discern whether you wish to spend the rest of your life with him or her. If you cannot decide yes within a few months, then you probably best ought to move on. Why perpetuate the period of indecision?

What if You Want to Pack Heat at Church but Your Clergy Forbids You?

November 16, 2017 By Kevin Kukla 2 Comments

In light of the tragedy at Sutherland Springs Baptist Church last week, many churchgoers felt compelled to pack heat in self-defense. This is an understandable and very human response. After all, self-preservation and the desire to protect one’s family from unjust aggressors lie within our human nature. Everyone is entitled to feel this way.

Well, that is, unless you live in the Diocese of Dallas, Texas.

June 20, 2016 By Kevin Kukla Leave a Comment

different ten commandments

1. “THOU SHALL HAVE NO GODS BEFORE ME” (Ex 20:3)

Of all the different Ten Commandments, this one was given first because it remains the most important. Yet, abortion violates this command from God.

As the Value of the Traditional Family Has Eroded, So Has the Principal of Subsidiarity Been Erased

June 8, 2016 By Kevin Kukla 2 Comments

principal of subsidiarity

Third, this all leads us to the third problem: the indoctrination of children in the modern, public school system. Parents who send their children to the public school system are subjecting their children to some or all of the following:

No prayer in schools
Little tolerance for Christian beliefs
Belittling of the Bible, if it is mentioned at all
Abhorrence for belief in Creationism
Morally bankrupt sex education
An erosion of traditional family values

And the list could go on from there.

If You Use Contraception, You’re Not Much in a Position to Oppose So-Called ‘Gay Marriage’

May 18, 2016 By Kevin Kukla 2 Comments

use contraception

Christians who support a Biblical world view have a hard time wrapping their minds around this supposed redefinition of marriage.

After all, didn’t God create mankind “male and female”? (Gen 5:2).

Didn’t Christ Himself affirm that human beings were created “male and female”? (Matt 19:4, Mark 10:6).

So how then did our culture get so screwed up that a man and a man or a woman and a woman could be legally ‘married?’
