SEVENTH STATION Jesus Falls the Second Time
We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You;
Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
REFLECTION: Again, weakened by suffering and overcome by fatigue, Jesus falls. Though utterly exhausted, He will not give up. He will not surrender to death until atonement is made and my salvation is accomplished.
PRAYER: O Jesus, help me bear with perseverance and ever greater generosity the cross of fidelity to Your commandments and of docility to Your inspirations. But if I should ever again have the misfortune of sinning, let me, encouraged by the example of Your zeal to atone have the honesty to acknowledge my guilt, the humility to confess my failure, the courage to atone for my sin, and the strength to rise again.
Have mercy on us, O Lord
Have mercy on us.
And have mercy on all those guilty of a second abortion, that they might not only come to an acute realization of the awfulness of their sin but also to a firm conviction of the infinite mercy of God and of His love for the repentant sinner.
Have mercy on them.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be[click to continue...]

Will you commit to saying one or both of these following prayers every day?[click to continue...]

To save freedom, Kant demanded autonomy, but by demanding autonomy he destroyed all real obligation and therefore all real law.”[click to continue...]

Veteran sidewalk counselors tried to warn me up front. I tried to ignore them. I didn’t want them to be correct.
For, if what they said was true, it would surely be deflating. It would also stand opposed to my immense ego and overconfidence in my power of dissuasion.
What am I referring to? What was this inconvenient truth about abortion sidewalk counseling I didn’t want to accept?[click to continue...]
Or how about the fact that these women are coming face-to-face with the father of their future child? So what if they didn’t pick him out of a catalog?
At least they get to put a face to their benefactor. They get to meet the stranger, whose baby they are paying him to carry for themselves![click to continue...]
The porn industry rides on the coat tails of the contraceptive industry. Doors that the crude, disgusting porn pushers could never venture into have been blasted wide open thanks to the contraception industry.
Pornographic images are commonplace in movies, HBO television shows, television commercials, and pop culture magazines. Having half-naked women on billboards all over major cities would have never been allowed a few decades ago.
But thanks to the deadening of the senses contraception has caused, pornography has been permitted to infiltrate nearly every corner of our culture.[click to continue...]
Just who carries the burden of being morally responsible for the abortion holocaust?
Over 3,000 babies are dismembered in their mothers’ wombs in this country alone on an average day.
Who bears the burden of permitting this abortion holocaust to take place?
