The stat being tossed around now remains that supposedly a half a million men in the US get a vasectomy each year. And now, the growing trend is for their wives or girlfriends to throw vasectomy parties to celebrate.
That’s right. This unnatural, immoral activity is now becoming increasingly celebrated openly in our demented culture. What happened to “the good old days” when people kept their grave sins private? Now we live in a culture that revels in such sinful behavior.
In place of baby showers to celebrate the upcoming birth of a newborn child, many couples have thrown vasectomy parties.
You can search Pinterest and Google for ideas for throwing such a God-forsaken party. Examples of party favors I have seen while perusing online include the following:
– A jar for adding “Boat Name Ideas,” where “Baby” is crossed off and “Boat” replaces it.
– Cakes or cupcakes with such “jokes” as “RIP Sperm,” “So Long, Boys,” “Congrats on the Snip-Snip,” “Happy V-Day” or “Happy Retirement to the Swim Team.”
– A gift basket containing items like a bag of almonds with a tag, “Go Home and Enjoy Your Nuts,” and a latex glove full of frozen peas and carrots, and other vulgar items.
And hey, some think, as long as you are committing a grave sin against the natural law, why not coerce a buddy to do it alongside you? It is becoming more commonplace for men to “not go it alone” when they get neutered. Here is an example from Good Morning America of these “brosectomies:”
SIN ABOUNDS
“Woe to you who call evil good and good evil,” says Isaiah 5:20 in the Bible. As I have detailed before, vasectomies are immoral. They violate the Natural Law and remain grave sins, as I have explained in the past.
Those throwing vasectomy parties are, thus, guilty of scandalizing their friends and family. They are making light of a grave sin against their very nature as human beings. Those who attend such parties are culpable for doing so, as well. For they are condoning and encouraging those who commit to a future of sterile sex.
Lord, have mercy.
